Last Friday, I started moving devices up to the CEO's office for storage since he's away for vacation. We now have about 20+ devices in there. You cannot stand next to the window unless you move a bit of furniture around :3. There's still space enough for someone to walk in there. I hope I can change that before he comes back >:).
I've officially ran out of stuff to do in all departments today. I finished up my own work, asked shipping, asked R&D, asked inventory management... They literally ran out of stuff for me to do. My solution: Start taking online classes!
I found this amazing website through the TED talks, called edX.org. I'm currently auditing an intro to ECE class presented by a professor from MIT. It's kind of nice... but I forgot how to calculus :C.
Ah... something funny...
One of the R&D jobs that I finished today involved making some filters (tedious, but something to do). One part involved using a scalpel to cut clear off some of the filter's excess membrane. My co-worker said something like: "Oh actually, you don't have to use the scalpel, I can do it later if you want. I don't want you to cut yourself."
I had to fight my hardest not let my inner Suzu-chan out and say: "I have a master's degree in biomedical engineering. I have ample experience using a cryostat cutter. And I've successfully done surgical operations on rats. AndI think I can handle a scalpel!"
More Suzu
I connect with short anime characters too much -_-
