After about 8 months of job searching, I finally found a wonderful company. The first job out of college was a completely new experience for me and I was extremely excited. Through the first month or so, I posted about my job a lot on facebook, so I could one day look back at the awesome things I learned and accomplished. It's gotten messy, disorganized, and somewhat buried under other posts. This blog is my attempt to organize the past and share humorous stories about work.
I'm not entirely sure what my official title is, but I've heard industrial assembler, manufacturer engineer, and design engineer. It honestly boils down to I make devices that analyze DNA (electrophoresis) and figure out ways to reduce build times and increase efficiency. The job is fun and relaxing. The work environment is amazing and my coworkers are all wonderful. The only complain I have is my ~3 hour commute every day -_- (there and back again).
Without further ado, I'll start from the beginning...
